Chocolate Brownies With Nutella? Yes Please!

Is there a more indulgent treat than this 3-Ingredient Nutella brownies recipe? This decadent dessert is a heavenly fusion of rich chocolate-hazelnut spread, flour, and eggs, creating a fudgy delight that will transport your taste buds to chocolate paradise. We just need to say it again because we can’t quite believe it ourselves. Brownies. Using. Nutella. OMG!

These chocolate brownies with Nutella are so easy to make, but who came up with such a genius idea?  Legend has it that in 1893, Bertha Palmer, an American socialite whose husband owned the Palmer House Hotel in Chicago, asked the chef for a dessert that was smaller than a cake but more substantial than a biscuit, that could be easily packed in boxed lunches. The result was the first chocolate brownie with walnuts and an apricot glaze. What would Mrs Palmer have made of our Nutella brownies recipe we wonder?

Interestingly, Nutella was born out of necessity. A cocoa shortage in Italy during World War II led baker and confectioner Pietro Ferrero (the Ferrero Rocher guy) to combine hazelnuts with what little cocoa he had to create a sweet paste, which eventually evolved into the Nutella we know and love today. We’re sure he would have loved our brownies using Nutella, and we’re sure you will too!
